A Magyar Vöröskereszt Heves Megyei Szervezete gondozásában - az egri önkormányzat támogatásával- jelent meg a fenti címen az a könyv, mely az egykori vöröskeresztes ápoló, Kissné Németh Irén visszaemlékezéseit és egy, Szuromi Rita által készített kísérő tanulmányt foglal magába.
A könyv hivatalos bemutatójára 2011. október 28-án Egerben a Bródy Sándor Megyei és Városi Könyvtár I. emeleti olvasótermében kerül sor, ahol az érdeklődők által megvásárolt (1500 ft/db) példányokat a szerzők a helyszínen dedikálják is.
A Vöröskereszt munkatársai a könyv megjelentetésével és bemutatójával kívánják zárni a szervezet megalakulásának 130. évfordulóját megünneplő megyei programsorozatot.
